Re: Ben Blumenfeld
Understand the company and problem space.
-Generate questions related to the work of the company that I interview at. Knowledge is power. I think. Learn about what that place is about, what they do. And think about how the company can be improved.
Interview for the Role
- Ask what is expected of my to fulfill the role for the title that I am being interviewed for.
Make and Practice Portfolio Presentation.
- A presentation is another opportunity to show my design skills.
Show Process
-Inspire with the ugly process that leads into the solution. Iteration, sketches, the thinking process is important to be show to employers and to coworkers. This way they will know more about me.
Own my mistakes
- Accepting mistakes shows humility and thoughtfulness. Acknowledging my errors demonstrates that I can asses them and try to prevent them in the future in order to make a sensible design decision.
