The way I perceive Getrude's work is that she observed events, sporadic moments, short moments that gave a unusual relevance to the small details, or even insignificant details to most people. Yet to me it seems that she view specific things in a certain colors or objects that metaphorically speaking gave additional meaning to a particular scene.
Her poems are in far very cryptic, and most definitely incomprehensible when not given careful thought to the words that they contain. I particularly enjoy the narrative that exists in her work, which sometimes isn't as linear as I would expect, thus why some poems might be harder to decipher than others.
Exploration options that I am thinking is, how the words occupy the space in relation with what they are saying. Dimensional Typography its what is called I think.
